It's Monday. And this Monday was actually a great day! Chase hasn't started classes yet for the Spring semester, so he's off work and school this week. I was off work today, so we went thrifting together and played on our new ipads. :) It was great.
The Good: At Goodwill, Chase found several warm, flannel shirts, and a pair of jeans. Usually he has an awful time finding anything in his size at thrift stores. For some reason, the jeans are always size 38 or higher and look like cowboy jeans. Which isn't quite his style. But we found these that are from the Buckle for less than $5. Insane. And awesome.
The Bad: I'm 99% sure I'm dying of some infectious illness, so I've been taking Vitamin C to try and stave it off. I typed my symptoms into Web MD and it told me I was most likely having a brain aneurysm. I told Chase that, and he told me I should probably take some ibuprofen and I would be fine. We'll see.The Ugly: Our precious little computer chair finally bit the dust. Actually, it bit the dust several weeks ago, but we've been putting off buying a new one. But we finally bought a new one today and had to throw this guy away. Sad. Ah well, asà es la vida.

Well mine was pretty boring i read 2 books, re - fashioned a pair of trousers to just under the knee shorts made a mess of my room in doing so and bought a diary.
ReplyDeleteTry warm honey and lemon for your illness.
Boring? That sounds like a great weekend! Do you have pictures of the refashion online? I would love to see them. Good call on the honey and lemon! My mom always reminded me to do that when I lived at home, but now that we're on our own I forget to do stuff like that. :)
DeleteI just nominated your for the Liebster award! Check out my page, www.pinstripedpenguin.com for more details! :) :)

Hey! Thanks so much! That's awesome. :)
DeleteI hope you feel better! WebMD is just about the scariest thing ever when you're sick :) Enjoy these next few days with Chase!
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny. James and I went to Goodwill last weekend. And yup there was tons of 38s, the wrong size. He did finally manage to fine two pairs. I also have some infectious illness but I went to the doctor and he said that it was bronchitis. Oh well. Sadface on the chair. I hate having to give up on something I used alot.
